This is a 2-day, 15 hour Instructor- Led Express course. Class time is from 8:30am-5:00pm. Any time missed in this course can be made up the next time the course is offered and is the responsibility of the student. Please check the current schedule for available dates. Once a student pays for a class, he/she may audit or retake the course without having to pay for the course again. School reserves the right to cancel any scheduled class for insufficient enrollment or other reasons. In the event of cancellation by school, all tuitions will be refunded promptly in full, or may be transferred by the student to another course at no additional charge. REFUND POLICY: There is a $25 non-refundable application fee (per course) subject to textbook(s) being returned in unused condition. No refunds will be issued after 30 days. Students will be able to download an e-book or books can be picked up at The Austin Institute of Real Estate at 8828 Research Blvd. Austin, Texas 78758, at no charge or have their books shipped to them for an additional fee (selection will be made during purchase/registration). The Texas Real Estate Commission considers correspondence courses “alternative delivery method courses”; therefore, the rules around attendance, make-up work procedures and student dismissal do not apply to correspondence courses. The course is active for 180 days from the date of purchase; however, student may purchase additional 60 day extensions for a fee of $50 per course. The extension must be made prior to the expiration of the course. A receipt will be provided to the student. FOR ALL “CORE” COURSES The student must complete the reading assignment and pass with a 70% on the online practice and final exam for each “core” course to receive credit. Student must pass the practice exam before he/she can start the final exam. Student will have two attempts to pass the final exam. After completing the course, the student will be sent a Completion Email which will include the Certificate for the course. The student will save the download and/or print and submit the certificate in accordance to TREC guidelines. Student’s enrollment will be terminated for anti-social or disruptive behavior, as viewed by school staff or instructor(s). Any student terminated for these reasons will not be permitted to re-enter the school. Refunds are not permitted when a student is terminated from the school. There will be a $25 charge for any returned checks.
